The present investigation was based on the correlation of the Factors

(Socioeconomic, Sociocultural and Socio-Environmental) of the Population


of the First Sector of Collique. To identify which factors are most related to
the Municipal Solid Waste Management. In order to identify the
weaknesses and strengths of the population regarding the problem, and
thus be able to propose specific solutions for the reduction of
environmental pollution by solid waste.
The project was framed in the type of correlative descriptive research, with
a field design; For this, a stage development was carried out that began
with the development of a data collection instrument, to which a statistical
methodology was applied for its validation. Then we proceeded to the data
collection, through a survey that was carried out to 71 random homes in
the study area, while assessing the management of their solid waste. The
data obtained were statistically processed under the Pearson correlation.
It was concluded that the population factors that are significantly related
to the management of solid waste are sociocultural (0.669) and socioenvironmental
factors (0.555). While the socioeconomic has a moderately
significant relationship (0.367).
