MOD CAUCAS

Honorable chair and fellow delegates

Terrorism is not a reality it has now become a part of every country. It is no longer an issue
of the country, it has become an issue of the world .With the spread of fedayeen acts, we as
citizens have forgot the very basic meaning of peace and integrity. We need to attach
greater importance to combating terrorism because not only it is spreading it is the most
explicit danger to humanity, human trafficking
the Counter-Terrorism Committee Executive Directorate (CTED), found out that human trafficking
has become a means to generate funds. According to ILO, 16 human trafficking generates annual
profits of around $150 billion. As noted by the 2018 Global Slavery Index7, 89 million people have
experienced some form of enslavement over the past five years.

Security Council resolutions 2331 (2016)20 and 2388 (2017)21 condemn, in the strongest terms, the
sale of, or trade in, persons seized by ISIL, as well as violations and abuses conducted by , Al-
Shabaab, and the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) and other such groups for the purposes of sexual
slavery, exploitation and forced labour.

Now, we strongly support the statement made by the delegate of Pakistan on how the trafficking in
India is not addressed and the crime rates have increased, even terrorism,

We must protect people in India that have become easy prey to terrorist and extremist
ideologies and falling to such crimes of human trafficking. We need to ensure that these
victims receive the necessary assistance so china would like to assist Pakistan .
China will also continue to support the international community in exercising in a zero
tolerance policy against trafficking and enhacing the rights of women and children in armed
conflict. China will work with partners to safeguard peace, security , stability and
development at the international and regional levels
There is no life to be found in violence. Every act of violence brings us closer to death.
Whether it's the the extreme violence of child abuse, domestic warfare, life-threatening
poverty, addiction, or state terrorism.
