THE GENTLEMEN

1. “The Gentlemen” is a movie created by Guy Ritchie (creator of other movies like “Snatch”
and “Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels”), and a plot by himself, and with the collaboration
of Ivan Atkinson y Marn Daves. The mains actors are Mathew McConaughey, Charlie Hunnam,
Colin Farrell and Hugh Grant.

2. The film was filmed specially in London, but also in the English countryside.

3. The film has a style which mixes flashbacks and different timelines. Start with a journalist
(Hugh Grant), Fletcher, who visits a man at night. This man is Raymond (Charlie Hunnam).
Fletcher tells Raymond the story of the United Kingdom’s biggest weed dealer: Mickey Pearson
(Mathew McConaughey). Mickey is a low-class gypsy who took control of the weed world
where he was young, using brutal tactics. But today, nobody knows how Mickey could to
create a business de of hundress of tons of weed a year. Nobody knows his business structure.
And it’s a secret coveted. Now, he wants to sell his drug empire. But there will be problems.
4. In my opinion is a fantastic film! The best of Guy Ritchie! Mickey Pearson is like Tommy
Shelby (“Peaky Blinders”), but in the 21st century. Is a fun and entertaining movie.
