English translation:

The Abaya

I am wearing an Abaya. In Egypt, we call this a going out Abaya. I wear it when I am
going out to Quran school, or for prayers in the mosque, or when I am going to a friend’s
wedding or something like this …. There are different kinds of Abaya. The one I am
wearing now is very simple and doesn't have any embroidery. There are other kinds of
Abaya that are black with some embroidery. The black Abaya is very common, especially
if you are wearing it at night for weddings, evenings out or soirées. Therefore, girls can
wear a Hijab and wear nice clothes that are modest and elegant at the same time.
