Windows XP driver install instructions.

Installation on XP of the dongle drivers is easy.

Quick hints:
You will use the Found new hardware wizard to install the drivers.
Ask the wizard to install the software automatically.
Don’t use windows update to install the drivers, as this will slow down the install.

Full instructions.
1. Copy the PCAN_USB.sys and Pcan_usb.inf into a directory.
2. Insert the dongle into the USB port.
3. The driver may install automatically, otherwise the “Found new hardware
wizard” window will appear.
4. If the wizard asks you to “search windows update for drivers” select NO.
5. If the wizard asks you “what do you want the wizard to do” select “Install
from a list or a specific location” option.
6. Select “Include this location in the search”, and browse for the directory where
you put the Pcan_usb.inf file.
7. The wizard will tell you when the software is successfully installed.

Move manager install instructions

Run the MosysJavaContainer- MosysMove2.7.17 with java web install.exe--small file

from the CD.

When prompted, by the Java installer, select the typical install options, and
Accept the Java licence agreement.
NOTE Make sure you’re connected to the internet, as Java will download most of it’s
components.

Once the Java is installed the Move Manager installer starts.

Simply click “install” to complete the installation.
