PUBLIC TRANSPORT SHOULD BE FREE

From my point of view I think that public transport should not be free, it would be better if
it were equitably paid in congested hours or rush hour calls, since many times one pays a
ticket for being comfortable to work or having a chair in which to be able to locate and it is
not, my proposal would be that a percentage of the value of the passage be paid and the
other be assumed by the state since there are many buses that have a certain capacity of
people which can carry but are not met, example the TRANSMILENIO, which is the most
common means of transportation in the city and if you start to look at the peak hours it is
always terrible, although they report that the buses are sent by the number of people who
pay the fare and are not queuing at the stations does not seem to me that this problem is
because of the fact that 10 or 15 people can sneak into the stations and the buses have
enough capacity for this, I think this is a lack of transport buses, on the other hand, I think
you should see the way that certain additional routes were made, since the entire city is not
covered with buses or the SITP, much less TRANSMILENIO. If we analyze transportation
in Bogotá it is very bad and for this reason people choose to move by bicycle or
motorcycle, since it is easier and faster, this due to the congestion of vehicles that occurs
daily also in the city.
