The parameters have the following limits: 40 - 150 kV, 10-1000 MA, 2.0 - 6 300 ms
and 0.02 - 1000 mAs based on a 80 kW generator. The user should also be aware of

APPENDIX B: ERROR MESSAGES
The following solutions are intended to be corrective of most of the problems
encountered during download and upload operations most of the time. Should the
Solution fail to remedy the problem, proper technical support should be sought.
Port Already Open
Reason: The program is attempting to open the communications port that had
been left open by another application.
Solution: Save all data and then reboot the computer and attempt
communications again, Rebooting will have closed the port. Should
the problem stil be present, remove alll applications from the start
group, reboot the computer and attempt communications again.
2. Port Not Open
Reason: Possible hardware problem.
Solution: Save data and reboot the computer. Run the Console Utlity and
attempt communications again. If the problem persists, try a different
‘communications port.
3
Port Locked by Another Device
Reason: The port is being used by another program.
Solution: Select a different port to use. This may require removing a device
from using a port while you are running GenWare Console.
Port Error
Reason: The port was not able to be opened.
Solution: Reboot the computer and attempt communications again.
8. Error in data transmission. Possible disconnection.
Reason: The selected port was not properly connected to the console unit
Solution: Check the following:
~ the serial cable is in good condition and the connections
to the console and computer are firm
- the cable is connected to the proper port
~ the console unit is powered on and is functioning normally

Error In data transmission, Bad data received.
Reason: Incorrect acknowledgement received from the console. Possible
corruption of data during transmission.
Solution: Check that your GenWare Console software is of proper compatibility.
Save your work, reboot the computer and run GenWare Console
again.
Error while trying to close the port.
Reason: Unable to close the communications port
