When pressing the release button to
close the breech bolt, be sure to not
accidentally engage the cut-off lever
(where present). If this occurs, the
breech bolt will be kept in the unlocked
position by the cut-off lever. In this
case, lock the breech bolt while
disengaging the cut-off lever. Keep

until it stops (fig. 33).

the groove on its neck corresponds to
the edge of the bolt body (fig. 34).

position, extract the cocking handle
from the breech bolt, pulling forcefully 34

• Working over a flat surface, with the
ejection port pointed upwards, pull
forward on the breech bolt assembly,
