Vision

I called this piece “vision” because I had one melody (which is the main melody of the piece)
kept on my mind for months, and I think this is a melody of my destiny. I think I figured it out,
therefore the piece is named “vision”, which means I have my vision of my own future. The key
starts in E minor, with often have a tendency of changing to D major, and ends with E major.
The form is in ABA Coda, the piece is mainly surrounding the rhythm and melody played by
horn in the beginning bar 1-4. I have done many imitations of rhythm and melody, and also
various kinds of accompaniment skills such as trills, glissandos, tremolos and dotted rhythms.
You can mainly see most of it in rehearsal number D (Bar 45-62) and E (Bar 63-78). Rehearsal G
(Bar 89-104) is the climax of the piece. Everyone in her life have their own climax in their life, so
as I have a climax in my own future one day. Rehearsal J (Bar 132-143) is the recapitulation,
which draws back to emphasise the main melody once more, and end with a grand finale in
rehearsal L (Bar 160-169). In the last 3 bars, I did a stepwise motion to raise the key from D
major to E major.
