Do you enjoy your class?? Enjoying a class means that you are not boring at any moment, you
pay attention during hours that happened to me with two special teachers whom I remember
best and have had and impact in my medical education are Mr. Aviles and Mr. Ruiz. I met Mr.
Aviles at my Internal Medicine Course. I met Mr. Ruiz at my Physiology course. Both are
exceptional teachers that I admire a lot. Due to the fact that they teach different courses, they
can be similar and different in many ways.

To catch student attention is crucial for teachers. It depends on teacher experience and the
method they used to explain their topics. On the other hand, there is an issue if the teacher
doesn't catch student attention. Mr. Aviles has a special method to explain topics. He starts
talking in an energetic and vigorous way about a clinical case of his significant experience
subsequently he asks students' opinions about that just as Mr. Ruiz explanation about cardiac
physiology by using interactive power points.

They are both extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable about their subjects. In fact, my
Internal Medicine teacher, Mr. Aviles, had been chosen President of the Peruvian Internal
Medicine Society two years consecutive because of his significant work at Arzobispo Loayza
Hospital. Similarly, my Physiology teacher, Mr. Ruiz, had been chosen President of the
Peruvian Cardiology Society the last year because of his important research in cardiology that
was significantly important to enhance Peruvian health people.

The teachers are very different because of their diverse workplace. The medical internal
teacher works at the Arzobispo Loayza Hospital as a Doctor specialized in Emergency. Mr.
Aviles's works could be stressful but it depends on your point of view. When I asked him about
How stressful his work is ? he told me that he loves his work despite the fact that could be
stressful. In contrast, my physiology teacher works at the National Institute of Heart (INCOR) as
a recognized researcher of cardiology. His last important published article was about COVID-19
and the use of IECAS to prevent that disease.

In conclusion, despite their differences like different subjects and workplaces and similarities
like their interactive way of explanation, they are both excellent and successful teachers in
their subjects according to my opinion.
