Rule 6 pleadings

Sec. 1. Pleadings are written statement of therespective claims and defenses of the parties submitted to
the court for appropriate action.

Sec2. Pleadings allowed. The claims of a party may be ASSERTED in a complaint, counterclaim, cross-
claim, 3rd, 4rth, etc.party complaint or a complaint-in-intervention.

The defenses of a party may be ALLEGED in the answer to a pleading asserting a claim against him or
her.

The plaintiff may file a reply only if the defending party attaches an actionable document is to the
answer.

Sec. 3. Complaint. A complaint is a (verified) pleading alleging aplaintiff's or a claiming party's cause or
causes of action. The (respective) names and residences of the plaintiff and defendant must be stated in
the complaint.

Sec. 4. Answer. Is a pleading (which sets forth the defenses of a defending party.)

Sec. 5. Defenses. Defenses may be negative or affirmative.

A negative defense is a specific denial of the material fact or facts alleged in the pleading of the claimant
essential to his or he cause or causes of action.
