WASTE PAPER
HEAD
1. You will need a thick needle (or a divider), all-purpose glue, a paper
knife, a ruler and a pair of scissors. A wooden stick, a pair of pincers
and an eraser may also come in handy.
2. Print out a template on plain A3 or A4 paper sheets (A3 preferably).
For your convenience, cut the sheets into separate details.
3. Take color paper of 200-250 g/m2 density. It is being sold in craft
shops. Cut out the paper sheets according to the template.
4. Lay the template on the paper sheet and pierce the main dots with a
needle. That's how you ‘ll get a layout for cutting out.
5. Using needle and ruler, trace along all dashed and dash-dotted
lines,to get a sharper, easier fold. Be careful not to make any mistakes.
6. Use paper knife to contour cut the detail. Open sections should be
cut with the help of a ruler, but projections for gluing can be cut
freehand.
7. Fold the detail along the lines: dashed lines — make a mountain fold,
dot-dash — make a valley fold.
8. Glue the detail up. The order of gluing: from the first sheet to the
last; from the darkest pieces to the brightest.
9. The entire work takes 4-6 hours, excluding breaks.
