Qhief, Immigration Regulation Division WAIVER OF FINES AND PENALTIES FOR VISA EXTENSION SUBJECT FOR PASSENGERS WHOSE VISA S EXPIRED DURING THE PERIOD OF THE ECQ DATE : 31.MARCH 2020 This is to disseminate again the attached Advisory from the Commissioner dated 26 March 2020, which informs the public of “the nationwide suspension of all applications. for..visa extension” during the period of the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ), except for outbound passengers. In 8 memorandum dated 31 March 2020, the Commissioner further instructed that the waiver of fines and penalties does not apply to the following: 1. Applications filed after the lapse of thirty (30) days from the lifting of the ECQ; and 2. All allens whose visas expired prior to the declaration of the ECQ.
