Demand and Supply Analysis

Our main target market is the female population of the enrolled students of Ateneo de Davao University.
From the record that we have gathered from School Registrar, there are a total of 5,140 students enrolled
in Ateneo de Davao University for which the total female population is 2,917. During our survey, we asked
20 female students of the said school to answer different questions related to their purchasing capacity of
our proposed products, the following are the results for the survey:

To identify our potential market, we asked the 20 samples if they are willing to purchase our products or
not. With the results we have gathered, there are 20 of our total sample who answered positively to the
question. Thus, our potential market is 100% of the total female population of the enrolled students of
Ateneo de Davao University, basically, the 2,917 female students.

For the market preference, we asked our samples to choose one or more types of products that we will
offer (e.g. Shirts, Blouses, Shorts, Skirts, and Pants). In the results gathered, 11 prefer Shirts, 14 prefer
Blouses, 10 prefer Shorts, 14 prefer Skirts and 10 prefer Pants. The results signify that our products will
be most probably be purchased by our potential market since there were no product which garnered less
than half preference of the total respondents.

For the frequency of the purchase, an overwhelming amount was calculated which is 76,425, basically the
total potential demand per year. The large amount is a result of our choices being so frequent, like once a
week which equates to 52 times a year, twice a week which is equivalent to 104 per year, once a month
which is 12 times per year and twice per month which is 24 times per year.
