Conclusion

This internship has been an excellent and invaluable experience.  I have been
lucky enough to meet and interact with people from different walks of life, that I am
sure will be able to help me with opportunities in the future. 

There are a few things I would like to highlight, which I believe are the most
valuable lessons I learnt from this internship. Firstly, working with an organization
which emphasised on the importance of sustainable rural development with
conservation of environment, the inherent initial lesson that this internship with
Vanrai taught me was the necessity and importance of protecting the environment.
Many a times we ignore or fail to look at the need to protect and conserve our
environment. Even if we want to, we often think what difference can an individual
make and to what extent can an individual’s effort help in the betterment of the
situation. Vanrai taught me how these small steps taken by an individual matter and
how it can bring about a change and contribute towards a better tomorrow.
Furthermore, this internship educated me the need to serve the society. I found myself
fascinated by the innovative ideas Vanrai has introduced in the past years for
protection and preservation of the environment, hence providing scope for sustainable
development. These programs provoked the interest I had to serve the society. This
experience gave me a fire to work for and contribute to creating awareness about
importance of social service and judicial management of natural resource.
