“Calle del Divorcio”:

This street is known as “Calle del Divorcio”, “Calle del Divorcio” is located near “Plaza de Bolívar”, and
its name has a curious theory, because, in the past, in this street were located a lot of “Chicherias”
(Chicheria was a place that trade a corn liquor, which name is “Chicha”, and its taste is so strong). In
“Chicherias”, many husbands came to drink this liquor, they got drunk and when people got drunk, they
became in a violent person and lose control, then, the family of person who got drunk, paid the
consequences, and wife, tired with that situation, they demand for divorce, so, the street is famous for
this curious fact.
