66-137 Voltage Tester Instructions

Contact AC/DC voltage test: 12V to 250V

Non-contact AC Voltage: Display by LCD, FIND PHASE LINE. Ground line
and break point of phase line

1.Voltage test
1. The last stated LCD displays is the voltage tested. The lightning
symbol represents the flow of current. If this symbol doesn’t
show, then there is no power supply.
2. If the tester voltage doesn't reach 70% of higher voltage. It will
display lower voltage. Example, for 110V if 77 or less volts of
current is flowing then the LCD display will show only 12, 36 and
55, which means any device which can run up to 55 V can be
used.
3. When testing DC, please touch the earth with your hand.
4. You can use induction electrode to test electric object lower than
12V.
5. The tested object should be against earth.

2.Induction test
When testing two parallel electric line, let the distance between two
lines be maximum (closer distance will not give accurate display).

3.Breakpoint test
Keep the tip of tester 1-5cm from the tested electric line, if an induction
marking is found on the LCD, the tested line is ground line.

Notice
1. When testing. Do not press two electrodes at the same time.
Otherwise, the result will be inaccurate or will impair the
induction.
2. When testing, please make sure insulated part of this tester is
clean.
3. Before testing please have a try on a confirmed electric object to
check whether the tester is working well. Otherwise, do not use
this tester.
