CURSE OF THE LAW
 

A SMALL RECAP

Remember we are looking at the 3 questions of 'who is JESUS to you?', 'What Has JESUS
done for you?', and 'What does JESUS require of you?' We looked at the first one
learning about the different offices of JESUS and their implications to our lives as Christians.
We are currently tackling the second question and this is the last lesson on it. We are learning
in this second question on what has THE MASTER accomplished for us in His incarnation as
a human being, born of a Virgin, suffering on the cross, death and His resurrection back to
life. In the next reading, we will look at only one lesson on the third question in which we
will learn what JESUS Our LORD requires of us as His subjects. This will mark the end of
our lessons on these 3 important questions every Christian should know. I pray that you go
back to each lesson, print it out, study it more and look up the outlined scriptures. That you
may grow more in the knowledge of THE SON OF GOD. He is our everything and among all
things there is to know in Christianity and the world, The Knowledge of JESUS CHRIST the
Son of God, is the greatest and noblest of them all.

Do you know this JESUS of Nazareth? Are you in a personal intimate relationship with Him?
Do you know and are you fully experiencing all He has accomplished for you in His death
and resurrection? Do you know His requirements of you and are you fully and faithfully
obeying them? You must know that at the end of it all, you must stand before the
JUDGMENT SEAT OF CHRIST, and give an account of your life to Him, whether saved or
not. How will you face Him if you neglected Him completely all your earthly life in pursuit
of miracles, gifts, or worldly things other than Him? I pray that you share these articles with
someone. You can use these lessons in your cell group, family devotion time, prayer meeting,
Bible study; challenging yourselves to grow more in the Knowledge of JESUS CHRIST.

After next week, we shall start a small new teaching series on the question of "WHAT DID
JESUS TEACH?" In these lessons we shall look at a few major teachings of JESUS our
LORD as recorded in the 4 Gospels. The mandate of my ministry is to bring all people to a
simple knowledge of The Son of God, to the Sinner, His Saving Grace, and to The Believer,
the full knowledge Christ, perfecting them to His very image: "Converting Sinners,
Perfecting the Saints". Do you know the major teachings of Christ? Are you living after and
obeying them? This is what it means to be a true Disciple of Christ, ordering our lives after
His teachings. This is the only path to growth into mature manhood in Christ. So I pray that
you continue to follow me in these lessons and never be a casual Reader, be a doer of what
you read and share with your friends the same truths that you learn. I pray God that all of you
may grow up into the full knowledge of The Son of God, that we may all have one prayer that
the Apostle Paul had namely: Philippians 3:10; That I may know him, and the power of
his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his
death. Amen.

REDEEMED FROM THE CURSE OF THE LAW

We are talking about what Christ has done for us in His Virgin birth, suffering on the cross,
death and resurrection, and ascension on the right hand of God. This is the foundation of our
faith. Christianity is not based on good works and religious practices as other world religions.
No, the Christian faith is based on The Son of God and what He has done for us in His
vicarious death and resurrection. Until we experientially get to know JESUS and what He
accomplished for us, our practice will be just a mere religion without power, there will be no
difference between us and the Muslims or Buddhists. JESUS is the difference and I wonder if
you really know Him and what He has done for you?

He has REDEEMED us from the CURSE OF THE LAW. Look at this:

Galatians 3:13; Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for
us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree.

Notice it is always in the past tense, Christ has already finished on the cross to redeem us
from the entire curse of The Law. What is this curse of The Law? Well this is the punishment
for breaking God's Law. The phrase "The Law" as used in the Bible refers either to The Ten
Commandments in Exodus 20, or to the First 5 books of The Old Testament (Genesis to
Deuteronomy, Moses' writings), or generally to the Whole Old Testament Scripture, as God's
WORD. In these Sacred writings God outlined the punishment for breaking His eternal Laws.
Specifically Deuteronomy 28:15-68, is a well detailed account of all the curses that God said
will come upon the disobedient. Please take time to read through it all. In a nutshell, all those
verses can be summarised in the following headings:

1. Spiritual death/Total Separation from God.

2. Sickness and Disease and Demonic oppression.
3. Poverty.

Therefore, in this lesson we shall look at how Christ has redeemed us from all this curse of
The Law. We shall consider the following:

A. REDEEMED FROM SPIRITUAL DEATH.

B. REDEEMED FROM THE POWER OF THE DEVIL AND DEMONS.
C. REDEEMED FROM SICKNESS AND DISEASE.
D. REDEEMED FROM POVERTY.
A. REDEEMED FROM SPIRITUAL DEATH

The most tragic effect of sin is the separation from the presence of The Almighty God. Sin
alienated man from God; man was kicked out of the glory of God. The Spirit of God in all
His holiness cannot dwell in sinful man. Man became an enemy of God. For Psalm 7:11,
says that: God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day. This
is the most devastating effects of sin. Without JESUS' sacrifice and shed blood, there is no
way man was ever to be reconciled back to God. There is only one Way and JESUS is that
Way!

Look at the state of every man before coming to Christ to wash away his sin; Ephesians 2:1-
2, Ephesians 2:11-12, Colossians 1:20-22. Please read these. I will summarise the main
points below:

1. Dead in sins and trespasses.

2. Gentiles in the flesh, uncircumcised. Meaning having no covenant with God, no
dealings with God whatsoever.
3. Without Christ and all He stands for.
4. Aliens from the commonwealth of Israel - The covenant people of God.
5. Strangers from The covenants of promise - cannot access God's blessings.
6. Having no hope and with God in the world.
7. Alienated from God and are His enemies in your mind by wicked works.

Basically the unsaved man is an open enemy of God. Now this man may appear a good man
morally, church going, law abiding citizen, a good husband and father, yet in his heart is a
stranger to God, an enemy to God, dead in sin, without hope and God, outside of the
covenants of God. This is a very sorry state! And the very condition of everyone that is not
born again. This is the first curse of the Law - eternal separation from God. Now this means
that instead of the SPIRIT OF GOD, you are dominated by the devil and His demons, that's
why it is dangerous for you a believer to marry a non-believer! The man is a candidate of
hell; he must spend all eternity in hell and the Lake of fire with the devil in ageless torments
and suffering for his sin. But in Christ, through His cross, suffering for us and going in hell in
our place in His death and burial, with His blood He has redeemed us from this curse of the
Law.

When I come to Christ, my sins are forgiven and washed away, I am brought into covenant
with God, I am reconciled to God by the blood of Christ. I am no longer a stranger; I am no
longer an enemy with God but a friend, yea the very son of God. I am family with God. No
longer separated from God but brought near into the very heart of God, I dwell in His bosom;
I daily feel His loving tender heart beat for me. Hallelujah! This is what King JESUS has
done for you. He has redeemed you from hell and the whole punishment of sin. Now heaven
is my home, a mansion and a crown prepared for me. Hallelujah! It is all free, by God's
GRACE, I just come 'Just as I am' depending only on the merits of Christ my Redeemer. O I
just love Him so! My good works do not count, but my simple childlike faith and confidence
in the mercy of God. This is pure love of my God to me a wretch. O I was a wretch, but now
The Beloved of God. Hallelujah what a Saviour! Thank you JESUS.

Look at this: Ephesians 2:13; But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are
made nigh by the blood of Christ. I have been brought near/ inside by the blood of Christ, no
longer an outsider!
Hebrews 10:19; Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the
blood of Jesus. A former enemy of God, but now I have the boldness to enter the holiest
place in God's Kingdom by the blood of Christ, there is no more 'no go zones' for me in My
FATHER'S heaven.

Do we believe this, or know it at all in the first place? Let us then come in boldly that we may
find grace and help in the time of our need. Christ has redeemed you from spiritual death; you
are no longer dead in sins but dead to sins, sin no longer having dominion over you. I am
reconciled to God.

Romans 5:1; Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our LORD
Jesus Christ. I have peace with God, I am justified- declared guilt free, by faith in Jesus’
sacrifice for me. God is no longer mad at me, we are at peace.

1 Peter 2:25; For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the
Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

HA! I had wondered away from God through my sins, but now am back as the prodigal son. I
found opens arms of my LOVING FATHER AND HIS SON, am embraced by LOVE
HIMSELF, am back to The Bishop, Pastor, Shepherd and The Custodian or Caretaker of my
soul, now LOVE takes care of me. O my troubled and restless soul can find a resting place,
all my inner fears, turmoils, are calmed, and am resting in The God of The Universe!

Ephesians 2:18; For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

Now THE HOLY SPIRIT dwells within my breast. He daily gives me access or holds my
hand and draws me into THE FATHER GOD. The warrior-like Cherubims guarding the way
of the tree of life (Genesis 3:23-24) from which man was forbidden, have been removed.
Now I can access and freely partake of all God's blessings. What has Jesus done for me? He
has redeemed me from spiritual death. No longer separated from God. I am no longer God's
enemy, I am one with God. I dwell in The Godhead and He dwells in me in all His three
Persons! I am a child and friend of God. Redeemed from hell, now heaven is my eternal
home. I am in covenant with God through Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!

B. REDEEMED FROM THE POWER OF THE DEVIL AND DEMONS

Sin gives the devil a legal right in any man or woman's life. The devil is the father or
owner/master of all sinners. All are under his sway until one escapes to find solace in The
Son of God. Therefore before I got born again, I was a slave to sin and Satan and demons. He
had mastery over my whole life. I was under bondage, he was my tyrannical master. I had no
escape from him, always tormenting with fear, shame, condemnation, guilty, anxiety,
restlessness, dragging me gradually into hell. Some are mercilessly molested by devils. You
see a well-educated, cultured, highly successful and influential beautiful young woman, but
abused by demons all night long. These are spiritual husbands that many suffer from.
Witchcraft, magic, spells, generational curses, recurring family trends or evil habitual habits
or addictions, the list is endless. These are holding a great number of people, amazingly even
born again Christians, filled with the HOLY GHOST, speaking in tongues, but have not yet
fully known and enforced their redemption realities are still also under this bondage.
But dear believer, you need not stay any longer in the devil's prison house. Today Christ will
want you to know that He has redeemed you from the oppression of the devil and demons. In
His cross, He made combat with the devil for your whole spirit, soul and body, and He won a
big great battle for you. He purchased you back from the devil by His very life and blood.
You're now redeemed. You can now walk out of all these bondages. The devil is no longer
your master. Now those family covenants, spiritual husbands, have no claim on you. THE
FATHER, JESUS AND THE HOLY SPIRIT, and Angels, the devil, demons, clearly know of
this redemption.

But do you know it yourself? My people perish (suffer from demonic oppression) because of
the lack of knowledge of their redemption and deliverance in Christ Jesus. I thank God for
the deliverance ministry, and all it does to help people. But this is like first aid remedies! As a
believer you need to grow into the knowledge that CHRIST has delivered you from the devil
and demons and enforce it in your life.

It is not scriptural for anointed men of God, to be the ones casting demons out of you all the
time if you are a believer. You must do it on your own, grow into your rights and redemption
privileges and enforce them. You must begin to use your AUTHORITY, as a child of God,
resist the devil in the Name of JESUS and he must flee from you as in terror! The devil's
power was broken off your life completely. He is now scared of you if you dare get down to
business to grow into your covenant rights and enforce them.

When are you going to get mad and tired of the devil oppressing you? Will you not use the
right you have to use The Mighty Name of JESUS and forever put the devil on the run? Look
at what happened on the cross when Christ was hanging in your place:

Colossians 2:14-15; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which
was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled
principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Glory to God, Christ spoiled principalities and powers. What are these? These are fallen
angels, demons under the headship of the Satan himself. These are the spirits sabotaging your
marriage, finances and every other area of your life. But on the cross, in the spirit realm,
Christ was in a battle with demonic forces of darkness, He stripped them of all power and
authority, He spoiled them. In what manner? TRIUMPHING OVER THEM ALL ON HIS
CROSS! He was not just a man hanged naked on the tree, but was in the spirit a Warrior, the
Lion of the tribe of Judah in combat for our souls! Ha! Christ was victorious over all power
of the devil for us. The devil has no longer a claim or authority or power or ownership over
you! Do not believe the lies of spirits claiming ownership over soul life, you have been
bought by the Blood of Christ in His cross. Hallelujah! Christ defeated the devil for you and
you are a master over the entire demonic world for you share the Authority of Christ your
Saviour. This is true for a new born again believer just as it applies to a big anointed man of
God. No difference whatsoever! The same victory of Christ over the devil belongs to all of
God's children.

Colossians 1:13; Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us
into the kingdom of his dear Son.

I am delivered from the power of darkness - witchcraft no longer affects me, family curses
and generational covenants of my clan have no hold on my life. I am free, I do not care what
affects all the females in my family, or marriages or their finances, it cannot affect me, I was
delivered by Christ, I am in another Kingdom and family. My natural blood and descent do
not have a hold on me. I am now a Love Slave of Christ my Redeemer. The devil has no
claim on my life anymore. His power was broken off my life forever. Hallelujah! Do you
believe this? Do you confess this daily?

Hebrews 2:14; Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also
himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that
had the power of death, that is, the devil.

Christ through His death destroyed the devil that had the power of death. The devil of course
is still around until his final judgment that it hasting in its approach but Christ has rendered
Him powerless, paralysed him when it comes to the redeemed children of God. Now Christ
has the keys of death and hell (Revelation 1:18). He opened the prison house I came out of
sin, death and the power of darkness, I am free. He has given me these keys to bind and to
loose in His Name. I have the power and authority of Christ over all the power of the devil. I
command all demonic influences in my life and family and they flee from me as in terror. I
am free. Hallelujah! What has JESUS done for me? He has delivered me from the power of
the devil and demons.

C. REDEEMED FROM SICKNESS AND DISEASE

You see the Words sin, sickness and Satan are all synonymous. The devil is the author of sin
and sin results into disease and sickness. All these are part of the curse of the Law. All the
diseases of the world known and yet to be discovered are all part of the curse of the law and
the devil and sin is the author of it all. In John 10:10, Jesus called the devil the thief that
comes to steal, kill and destroy, but Himself came to gives us the abundant life. God is not
the author of sickness. This must be our fundamental unwavering belief if we are going to
walk in our redemptive realities of healing and divine health. It is the deception of the devil to
credit misfortunes, diseases and plagues to our LOVING FATHER. He who sent His Son to
die in our place, can He then send sorrows to us! No never, but you ask: "why does He allow
them?" You see God has A LAW. Now our obedience to it has blessings but our
disobedience to it has curses as recorded in Deuteronomy 28. So when you chose God in
obedience you have chosen life, health and blessings, but if you chose sin you have chosen
death. It is really your choice. But God out of His great mercy and love sent His Son to give
us a remedy over our sickness and diseases, which we justly deserve because of our sins. On
the cross, my Jesus took on all my sicknesses and diseases. His beatings, stripes, bruises,
torments, torture and anguish was all for me. He didn't have any sicknesses of His own. He
suffered for my very own diseases, He took my place. It is needless for me now to carry that
cancer or Aids, He took it all, I must accept His redemption and deliverance by faith.

Matthew 8:17; That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet,
saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

O Thou Christ hast redeemed me from all my sicknesses, Thou took all my infirmities,
weaknesses, and pains in Your very Spirit and Body. Then if You took them, then I do not
have to take them in my body too. I am free and healed in Christ Hallelujah!

Isaiah 53:4-5; Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did
esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our
transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was
upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.

1 Peter 2:24; Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being
dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by Whose stripes ye were healed.

By the stripes of Jesus I was healed. Notice please: I am not going to be healed, am not
believing God to heal me, I am not to pray, fast, beg, cry unto God to heal me! I am already
healed, because I was - past tense healed on the cross. Over 2000 years ago all my sicknesses
and diseases were put on Christ on the cross and now I have none! If I was healed then, that
means I am healed now! What of my pains and symptoms and doctors fatal findings in my
body? It is all a bunch of lies! The devil stubbornly is trying to illegally trespass on God's
property; cunningly playing on my negligence or ignorance of my rights! What to do then? I
get down to business, get all my healing scriptures, meditate on them, confess them, then
claim my healing in Jesus Name, commanding all pains and symptoms to vacate God's
property! Then begin to thank God for my healing and consider myself healed even if the
pains and the symptoms are still visible. See I am not moved by what I see, I am not moved
by what I feel, I am only moved by what I believe, and I Believe Jesus and His WORD to
me!

But this ought to be for young believers who have just gotten born again. A fully grown
believer should grow up into the knowledge of Christ and what He has done for them, then
what He requires of them and then do it in perfect obedience. Such a believer will never see
sickness in their lives or family. Of course the devil may try to attack them for he is a
relentless fellow, but such a believer is not disturbed at all, for they know their authority as
children of God and they quickly put the devil in his place. No Christian should look for
another person to pray for them, this is for babes and carnal Christians! Never settle for this
level of Christianity. Come on, grow up in knowledge of Jesus' redemptive work for you. Be
a man of THE WORD. Read it for yourself daily, meditate in it, then do it and practice it.
Walk in LOVE, and find out God's will for your life and do it faithfully. If you walk in such a
way, you should never know sickness in your life ever.

If you are ever attacked by sicknesses in your body or family, then check yourself on the
following points:

1. Are you living in THE WORD OF GOD in reading, confessing, meditating and doing
it?
2. Are you walking in LOVE, to all people in your life according to the description of it
in 1 Corinthians 13. Unforgiveness, bitterness, anger, malice, jealousy, envy,
selfishness, pride, arrogance, judgmental and critical spirit, backbiting etc. These will
kill young and no amount of prayer or WORD confessions of faith can work with
these in your life.
3. Are you in the PERFECT WILL OF GOD? You see all God's Blessings, protection
and provisions of things like Angels are found only when you are in the perfect will of
God for your life. If you're out there doing your own thing then you are a misfit and
the devil can take you out, because you are bare, out of the protection of God. It is
only safe when you are in God's perfect will.

Therefore always check yourselves on these 3 lines and always look to Christ and depend on
His grace and mercy for your healing and divine health both for you and your family. What
has Christ done for you? He has healed you of all your diseases. Now you can have healing
for your body and mind. But better still you can have divine health, immunity to sicknesses,
never getting sick at all.

1 John 3:8; He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the
beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the
works of the devil.

O my Jesus was manifested in a human body, born of a Virgin, at the age of 33 suffered for
me, got beaten and smashed, took on my cares, anguish, pains, sorrows, diseases and
sicknesses, emotional and psychological traumas. He paid a full price for my healing and
deliverance. He has completely destroyed all the works the devil in my life and family. By
Jesus' stripes I was and I am healed. Amen.

D. REDEEMED FROM POVERTY

Another part of the curse of The Law or the punishment for breaking God's Law is
POVERTY. Our God is rich and wealthy. He is called THE BLESSED ONE. The very
streets of heaven are paved with pure gold. He created all the planets and the earth with all its
rich minerals. The earth and the fullness thereof is The LORD's (Psalm 24:1-2). He is a rich
Monarch. He created man and put him in a blessed garden of Eden full of all sorts of things
desirable and needful for life. Poverty, lack, and insufficiency are not of God. There are no
beggars on the streets of heaven. Poverty and lack is a curse from the fall of man. It is not
God's will for any of His children to be poor. Jesus through His cross, sufferings and death,
redeemed us from this curse of the Law.

2 Corinthians 8:9; For ye know the grace of our LORD Jesus Christ, that, though he was
rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

Glory to God! My Jesus who was a rich God, became poor for me, emptied Himself, put on
all of my poverty, lack, and insufficiency. No wonder Prophet Isaiah called Him a "Man of
sorrows". Now I through His poverty I am made rich. God wants all His children to be rich!
Yes I said it, Jesus wants you to be a rich man or woman. Now I didn't say that He will make
us all billionaires and millionaires, although He will make some of us such. The Word 'Rich'
just means having a fully supply of all your needs met and left with a surplus to be a blessing
to others. This is what God desires for all His children. Again poverty is not the will of God
for us. Say bye bye to debts and insufficiency.

Look at this wonderful promise: Philippians 4:19; But my God shall supply all your need
according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Ha! ALL of your needs fully supplied according to HIS RICHES IN GLORY! This thrills
me, just name your need and King Jesus already paid a full price for it. Are you claiming
these privileges? Psalm 23, that great song about The Great Shepherd YAHWEH. It says that
if He is my pastor, I shall not want anything. Notice it is not just about meeting our basic
needs. No, it is wants, beyond just surviving to living the abundant life. "I am come that they
might have life and have it more abundantly" said The Master. My Jesus has redeemed me
from the curse of poverty. He has made me a rich man, a blessed man, for His Blessing
makes me rich and adds no sorrows with it (Proverbs 10:22). The people of the world have
riches, wealth but with sorrows, deadly covenants with devils of great sacrifices. They are
sick, filled with cares, anxiety, marriage troubles, messed up children and of course hell
waiting for them. But glory to God my Jesus makes me rich in gold, silver, money,
properties, yet still with eternal life, peace of mind, health, marriage blessing and godly
children with no SORROWS with it.

3 John 1:2; Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even
as thy soul prospereth.

Notice that, The SPIRIT OF GOD calls you BELOVED! God loves you dearly. There is soul
prosperity - your mind and emotions well, and physical prosperity - a strong healthy body and
long life and finally material prosperity - in money and properties. This is all God's will for
your life. He made Abraham, Job, Isaac, Jacob, David, Solomon and many others in the Old
Testament very rich, these guys were loaded to the extent of being richer individually than all
their entire nations put together. He is still the same God today for He never changes
(Hebrews 13:8). He is still in the business of making His children rich! We are about to see
great Christian Tycoons that will take the world by storm, who will believe in their covenant
rights that Christ bought for them, and I believe these fellows will be individually worth more
than their entire nation's economies and all other non-believers’ wealth put together! And you
dear ordinary believer can also believe God at least for your own wellbeing - a full furnished
house, means of transport, a decent job/business, quality education for your children, and
much more abundance that you may have all sufficiency in all things to support the work of
God and bless the poor. I wonder if you ever claim this promise? 2 Corinthians 9:8; And
God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency
in all things, may abound to every good work.

1 Timothy 6:17; Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high-minded,
nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to
enjoy.

Our dear FATHER, gives us all things, notice please the 'ALL' and not some things! How?
Miserly or sparingly? No, RICHLY/ABUNDANTLY/ EXTRAVAGANTLY! For what? For
our ENJOYMENT! God simply wants you to have a good life, to have a blast on this earth!
Do you believe this? Look at the summary of the life of our father in the faith, Abraham:

Genesis 24:1, 34-35; And Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the LORD
had blessed Abraham in all things. And he said, I am Abraham's servant. And the
LORD hath blessed my master greatly; and he is become great: and he hath given him
flocks, and herds, and silver, and gold, and menservants, and maidservants, and camels,
and asses.

This must be our final testimony in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Now this prosperity like all other redemption realities that Christ purchased for us at the cross
is not automatic. Although they are freely offered by God's GRACE, yet we must only access
them by FAITH. This scripture outlines the 'how' we get saved or access any of God's
blessings: Ephesians 2:8; For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of
yourselves: it is the gift of God. It is always by GRACE THROUGH FAITH. Grace is
God's side, faith is your side, without you doing your part God is helpless in blessing you,
there is a God part and a Man part in all God's dealings in your life, am sure He is committed
to His part, He demonstrated it on the cross, are you doing your part of BELIEVING? The
faith for prosperity comes by you getting scriptures on prosperity, study them, and actually
devour them daily until they are your heart convictions. You see faith is of the heart and not
the head; your casual intellectual passive knowledge of these things will not avail you
anything at all.

Faith is expressed in heart conviction that fully persuades you into action, anything less than
this is not faith! Do you confess prosperity scriptures often? And you doing your part in those
scriptures, this is the path way to prosperity in God (Joshua 1:8, Psalm 1)

The faith for finances can be expressed in the following:

1. Meditation, confession, believing and living/obeying of THE WORD OF GOD.

2. Walking in LOVE.
3. Finding out God's will for your life. He will only send His blessing to you in the place
He has commanded you to be, doing only what He commands you to do and never
your own thing.
4. You must be a committed, hard working person, diligent in the business God has
entrusted you with, whether ministry or career or business. You get at it with all your
heart and strength, be faithful with all patience, never seeking the easy way out or
quick hasty riches and success. It takes reasonable time for God to build the kingdom
character and stamina in you to be able to contain and sustain the big prosperity and
success He has for you. Therefore Patience is paramount.
5. You must be a diehard TITHER AND OFFERER. Then you must be a SOWER into
God's Kingdom purposes, helping the poor, taking a good care of your nuclear family,
aged parents and other close family and friends according to your ability.

If you are just lazy, always praying and confessing how Christ has made you rich, without
living according to the Bible, walking in love, finding work and be diligent at it, being a
consistent TITHER and Giver, then just know that you're going to die a miserable poor and
frustrated man with all your big empty prayers and confessions! God is not a Joker; therefore
He will never bless a lazy idle man.

If you are those who do not believe in the 'prosperity gospel' as the critics call it, then you can
be rest assured that it won't work for you. But glory to God, it is working for me, I am Iiving
the WORD, walking in love, working hard in the ministry, praying, teaching, preaching,
writing, ministering and helping people, am tithing and giving diligently and sure enough am
reaping and enjoying the BLESSED LIFE. Are you? Then check your belief system and
Christian practice.
Why prosperity?

Deuteronomy 8:18; But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth
thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy
fathers, as it is this day.

It is God giving you the power, ability, wisdom, physical and mental strength to make it rich
and successful in life. You are not a 'self-made'. Why? So that you can have a blast selfishly
by yourself? NO! He has a covenant or a WILL or plan or purpose to establish His
KINGDOM on earth. Today it is represented by The Church of Christ of all denominations,
through which He establishes His will on this planet. So the church and its mandate must be
supported. We live in a material and monetary economy, therefore the church will only
advance its mission and evangelistic work by huge sums of money.

Sinners are not going to give to God, they have another master the devil with another agenda
of dragging people away from God to hell and they are diligently financing it big time! But
you Christian are you concerned about the advancement of the Kingdom of God? The
FATHER desires all the world to be saved. And this can only be accomplished through the
preaching of the GOSPEL of JESUS CHRIST to all the world via different avenues which
require a lot of money. If you volunteer to be a steward of God's resources, He will bless you
with abundance, so you can advance His work through your generous giving. God is looking
for selfless people who will catch His vision, always praying that He blesses them so that
they can push His work forward.

Are you of this mind? Then God is about to make you a millionaire or a billionaire! When I
consider the things God is leading me to do in my own ministry: Getting on the radio and
preach THE WORD, setting up a ministry center on a full floor of a building with an
auditorium for teaching, media studio, prayer room, not mentioning the equipment and other
accessories needed, vans etc, later acquiring 100s if not 1000s of acres of land, and set up
gigantic buildings, for Church, Bible school, prayer center, academy of schools from
preschool up to university, hospital, private airport... literally a city with all the necessary
details, travelling the whole world preaching the gospel, etc. You can multiply this to 100s of
others called with diverse mandates to reach out to lost humanity and build the kingdom of
God. I ask, how is all this going to be accomplished? Not 'miraculously.' Now I believe in
supernatural provision and miracles, but in the Bible every time God wanted to build His
work, He commanded His people to give generously, but in order to do so, He had to have
blessed them before. Do you know that God has blessed you with that good job, great
business, so that you can support His work? Angels are not going to rain down money for us
preach the gospel! The LORD Jesus has made the provision, redeemed us from poverty, He
wants us to be rich so that we can finance His work and advance His Kingdom!

Are you not concerned about souls going to hell? What will you do about it? Are you not
concerned about the lack of good affordable Christian schools and universities in our country,
to curb the onslaught of secular humanism taught in our public schools and private
international schools? What are you going to do about it? If you get the vision of God's
Kingdom and start where you are to partner with God's work as a TITHER and offerer and
beyond that as a generous sacrificial giver of your money to His Work, then THE LORD will
make sure that big contracts, opportunities, wisdom, insights, innovation and capital is always
at your desk. He will release His Angels to aid you and turn you into a millionaire and
billionaire. Are you not concerned about the small pay that foreign investors are paying to our
young men and women? Or our young people serving as slaves in Arab countries or the cold
west? What of the unemployment levels and the idle youth degenerating in morals going to
hell? Who will give them meaningful employment? Are you not concerned about the young
girls devalued and abused sexually to get jobs or promotions? Where are the Christian
business men and women who will put up big corporations and provide good safe working
environment for our daughters? Do you care enough to believe God to make you a channel of
blessing to advance His Kingdom and make a difference in our nation? But as for me and my
family we shall believe God to do something about it. O that God would enable me to employ
minimum 10 million Ugandans!
What has Jesus done for you? He has redeemed you from the curse of poverty. Are you
utilising your privileges in Christ?

In conclusion, this is the last lesson on the second question of "What has Jesus done for
you?" We have looked at 3 lessons on this question, learning of what Christ has
accomplished for us in His Virgin birth incarnation, sufferings on the cross, death and descent
into hell, resurrection and ascension back to His FATHER'S right hand for us as our High
Priest. He has saved us, redeemed us and made us sons of God. I pray that you go back to
these truths over and over again until they become your heart convictions, daily confessions
and literal experience in your life. Amen.
