Use this chart as a guide to help you know how much fondant to use when
covering cakes of various sizes & shapes. The measurements in this guide allow for
some overhang which in essential in covering a cake with ease and minimal
damage. This overhang will be removed when covering the cake, so anticipate
some leftover fondant from the amount used.
This guide is an approximate only and will depend on how thick or thin the fondant
is rolled out.
We recommend rolling it at the optimal thickness of between 3mm-5mm.
