Lemlem is very right in her observation about our local people’s time
keeping. I used to go by sun rise and sun set and making a shadow from our
house I know exactly when to leave for school and be on time for my classes
everyday. I am more late now using my watch than those days when we
depend on nature. Lost time is gone for ever, and how true that we all have
our watches and still not keeping time is it for decoration that we buy
watches? I wonder many times. It is something we all need to think about.
Suppose God says, "As one tenth of all your income is Mine, so is one tenth
of your time. Each day one must spend 2 hours and 24 minutes with the
Lord faithfully," can you imagine what good it does for our soul if we do
that! Time is like a running river. You lose what you don't catch.
