Design & Engineering

As one of the world’s leading multi-discipline engineering consultancies, the Atkins Design &
Engineering business works with both UK and International Clients to plan, design and enable some
of the most challenging and complex building and infrastructure projects in the world.

The nature of the projects delivered by Design & Engineering is very varied. The Design &
Engineering business are currently involved in projects including the design of the world’s largest
airport, London’s Crossrail Project, the design of Defence facilities in the UK and the design of power
stations. Most projects will see all of our engineering and architectural disciplines working together to
deliver world class design and engineering services to our clients.

The Design & Engineering division of Atkins is split into two businesses – Engineering & Major
Projects and Property & Design. The two divisions often work closely together, supporting each
other on projects and sharing best practice. More information on the different Design & Engineering
businesses and on Graduate opportunities available within each business is below.
