1. PARTICIPATION
1.1 Participation is open to Malaysian citizens only. For non Malaysians, participation is limited to
foreign students from Institutions of Higher Learning.
1.2 Foreign students who are taking part in this event must present their matric cards and other
supporting documents in order to confirm their status as a genuine student.
3.1 Each school/institution/club can only register a maximum of 2 teams for each event.
3.3 Each participant can be registered in more than one event but can only represent a single
school/institution/club.( Please refer to the secretariat if you are not sure)
3.4 Team registered using school names are required to obtain permission from their respective school
administration, and this is compulsory requirement.
3.5 For the IPT category, only active students are allowed to be registered. Matric cards must be
produced upon any request.A copy of the matric card is to be attached together with the registration form.
3.6 Students who have graduated and IPT’s staff are not allowed to take part in the IPT category.
They can take part in the Open and Veteran categories.
3.7 Teams which fail to comply with the rules and regulations are subject to disqualification.
3.8 For the 4 x 100m (mix) the first and last runner has to be a female.
5.1 If there are any protest, the protesting team manager must present the original identification
documents of his/her team runners which are IC for Malaysians. For non-malaysians passport and matric
card are required.
5.2 All verbal protest must be made to the competition referee not later than 30 minutes after the
announcement of the results of that particular event. The official protest must be completed together with a
payment of RM 200.00. This amount will not be returned if the protest is turned down.
Team managers meeting will be held on the 11th of February 2011 at the Secretariat Meeting Room,
USM Hockey Stadium. Time will be informed later.
7.1 Closing date for entries are on 31st January 2011. Late entries are subject to the organizers
acceptance.
8.0 All teams are advised to contact the organizers if there are any doubts regarding the rules and
regulations and the eligibility of the participants in certain categories. This is to ensure that there are no
confusions or protests during the competition. The decision of the competition referee is final.
