During this video I’ve learned that they are 6 levels of understanding: literal; interpretive;

analysis; application; synthesis; evaluation. To summarize is to get a short account of the central

idea. They are 5 essay formats: expository; argumentative; persuasive; narrative; descriptive. An

essay should be structured with intro, body and conclusion. In the intro you start with your main

point and purpose, in the body you discuss strategies and techniques, in the conclusion you must

achieve your purpose. In data collection there two methods, qualitative and quantitative.

Qualitative is subjective while quantitative is objective. Features of research: structured and

systematically processing information; clear statement and expectation; logical and subjected of

critical thinking and validity. They are three sources in data collection: primary, secondary and

tertiary. Primary, is first-hand information, secondary, is not firsthand information (analysis) and

tertiary, are from internet, books etc.
