Ans: The Critical Paths are A-B-J-K-L-M-R-S-T-U , and its length is 18 days.

2. If the Cezane has to be completed 2 days earlier, would it help to

a. Buy preassembled transmissions and drivetrains?

Ans: Yes, because it has a free slack of 3 days.

b. Install robots to halve engine-building time?

Ans: No, Installation of robot is not part of the path.

c. Speed delivery of special accessories by 3 days?

Ans: No, because it only have 2.4 free slacks

1. What is the critical path and how long is the project expected to take?

Ans:1-3-5-6-8-10-11-12-14-16-17-19-20-21, it is expected to take 47 months

2. Why is the construction of this 11-story building any more complex than the construction of an
equivalent office building?

Ans: Because it has more activities than building office building.

3. What percent of the whole project duration was spent in planning that occurred prior to the
proposal and reviews? Prior to the actual building construction? Why?

Ans: 57% prior to actual building construction, because it needs more preparation in constructing the
building because of different requirements to be measured and before constructing.
