WIRING FOR 8STRING PEDAL STEEL LACE PICKUP

Unfortunately Lace have not posted a separate drawing/wiring diagram for the Tonebar with 4 wires yet.

The Tonebar is an Alumitone pickup and is same as attached Matchbook

The wiring is now identical in all Alumitones

4 x wires:
Red is Hot connect to volume control or switch
Green is to Ground
White with Black stripe is to Ground
Plain White is a Coil tap and is NOT connected unless coil tap required

It depends on the manufacturer of the pickup you have to what colours they use.

On Lace Alumitones

Orange goes to the tip of jack socket

White with Black & Green to ring of Jack Socket

White taped off and Not Connected
