Power distance index (PDI)

This index shows whether or not people accept social inequality. A high score indicates that people
accept social inequality and a low score indicates that people do not accept social inequality.

Individualism versus collectivism (IDV)

This index shows whether people in a society prefer to take care of themselves or be in a group
and take care of others. A high score indicates that society is individualistic and a low score
indicates that society is collectivist.

Masculinity versus femininity

This index shows if heroism, success, competition is more important in a society or if it is more
important, caring for the weak, quality of life, consensus.

Uncertainty avoidance index(UAI)

this indicator shows if in a society there are very strict beliefs and norms of behavior or if it is a
more relaxed society, the practice is more important than the principles

Long term orientation versus short term orientation

this indicator shows if people prepare for the future through saving and education or if they do
not prepare for the future.
Indulgence versus restraint

This indicator shows whether people are looking for pleasure, being free, enjoying life, free time
and fun are important to them, or if they control their desires through strict social norms.
