INFOGRAPHIC MAKING CONTEST

GUIDELINES AND MECHANICS

This contest is open to all enrolled students of Dumalneg National High School. Students
who wish to participate in this contest shall create an original Infograph (graphic visual
representations of information, data, or knowledge intended to present information quickly and
clearly) to promote this year’s Nutrition Month Theme: Batang Pinoy, SANA TALL Iwas
stunting, SAMA ALL din saCivid-19!

RULES:

1. There shall be only one entry per person.

2. The content of Infograph should be aligned in promoting the theme of the National Nutrition
Month 2020.
3. Dimention of the inforgraph should be a size of Letter bond paper. Save is as .jpeg or .png
type of file.
4. Any graphic software is allowed to be used (not only limited to Photoshop, MS Office,
Canva etc.)
5. Using of inappropriate graphics and words are not allowed.
6. The infograph to be submitted must be ORIGINAL and not copied from the Internet.
7. Must provide reference or source of information that will be used in the Infograph.
8. Submission of entries will be on July 17, 2020.

CRITERIA FOR JUDGING

CONTENT 40%
Accurate details, information and visual Month Theme
graphics must be anchored in the Nutrition

VISUAL APPEARANCE 40%

Used of outstanding designs, colors, and
space. Must be harmonious and creative.

FOCUS 10%
Must relay the main idea clearly and supported by proper illustrations.

Must be free from grammatical and visual errors.

POSTER-SLOGAN
GUIDELINES AND MECHANICS
 This contest is open to all enrolled students of Dumalneg National High School. Students
who wish to participate in this contest shall create an original POSTER-SLOGAN that will
promote this year’s Nutrition Month Theme: Batang Pinoy, SANA TALL Iwas stunting, SAMA
ALL din saCivid-19!

RULES:

1. There shall be only one entry per person.

2. The POSTER-SLOGAN must focus on the theme of the National Nutrition Month 2020.
3. Only traditional medium is allowed (e.g. oil pastel, crayons, colored pencil/pens). A 1/8
illustration board should be used for the poster.
4. The slogan must contain 10 to 15 words.
5. Take a photo for submission and it should have a proper lighting and free from digital
enhancement.
6. Submission of entries will be on July 27, 2020.

NUTRI-ESSAY
GUIDELINES AND MECHANICS
 This contest is open to all enrolled students of Dumalneg National High School. Students
who wish to participate in this contest shall write an essay that will promote this year’s Nutrition
Month Theme: Batang Pinoy, SANA TALL Iwas stunting, SAMA ALL din saCivid-19!

RULES:
1. There shall be only one entry per person.
7. The contents of the NUTRI-ESSAY must focus on the theme of the National Nutrition Month
2020.
2. The entry must be original work of the author, medium should be in English and must be
between 250 to 500 words.
3. The essay must be typed in Times New Roman having 1.5 spacing and the body of the content
should be of 12 font size. However, heading may be in 14 font size and legal size.
4. Submission of entries will be on July 17, 2020

GUIDELINES AND MECHANICS

This contest is open to all enrolled students of Dumalneg National High School. Students
who wish to participate in this contest shall create a video blog about healthy lifestyle
(quarantine edition) that will promote this year’s Nutrition Month Theme: Batang Pinoy, SANA
TALL Iwas stunting, SAMA ALL din saCivid-19!

RULES:
1. There shall be only one entry per person.
2. The contents of the vlog must focus on the theme of the National Nutrition Month 2020.
3. Duration should be exactly five minutes (5:00) long and the format should be in
mp4/.mpeg/.mov/.avi.
4. Observe the use of appropriate language and the medium should be in either Iloko,
Filipino or English.
5. Submission of entries will be on July 20, 2020.
