Subject : New cost centers for Division Controllers

Saudia is going through a dynamic process of transformation. The management has

introduced many initiatives to bring in efficiencies and optimization in the way Saudia should
operate. I believe finance has a very important role when it comes to assist in, monitor and
report these initiatives. 
Operational departments have to focus on achieving excellence in their relevant areas
while paying attention to financial impact of what they do, how they do and when they do. This,
I believe, it is responsibility of finance to guide the functional areas when it comes to translate
their operating activities to financial numbers.

In order to have a close coordination and one on one interaction with functional areas, we
made following proposal to the Director General:
 That following four new cost centers will be opened for three division controllers
 Division controller Operations
 Division controller Commercial
 Division controller Others
 Statistical Analysis
 These Cost centers will be reporting to GM Financial Planning and reporting
The Director General has very kindly agreed to this proposal and advised us to coordinate with
HR department to start process for opening these three new cost centers.
The proposed structure is attached herewith for your kind information and further action.
