MOTION TO CONDUCT ARRAIGNMENT
VIA VIDEO CONFERENCE

Accused AAAA, et.al., through undersigned counsel, respectfully
state that:

1. The accused in the instant case were charged with
violations of the following:

1.1 Republic Act No. ___________”; and,

1.2 Violation of ____________________”.

2. Pursuant to Supreme Court Administrative Circular No. 41-
2020, ‘all hearing of cases, regardless of the stage of the trial, shall be in-
court, except in cases involving Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLS) who
shall continue to appear remotely from the detention facility, and in cases
with extraordinary circumstances as may be determined by the justices
and judges which shall be heard through videoconferencing.’

3. Considering the number of the accused and the threat of the
pandemic, the undersigned counsel would like to request permission
from this Honorable Court to conduct the arraignment via video
conferencing.

4. If allowed by this Honorable Court, accused will be available
via videoconference on the following dates _____________________, or on
such dates convenient to the calendar of this Honorable Court.

5. This motion is not intended to delay the proceedings but
solely for the above-reasons.

PRAYER

WHEREFORE, premises considered, accused AAAA, et al.,
respectfully pray that this Honorable Court-

1. Grant the Motion to Conduct Arraignment via Video
Conference;

2. Note the available dates of the accused for videoconference.

Accused likewise pray for other relief and remedy which the
Honorable Court may find just and equitable under the circumstances.
