Hockey
Club
are
seeking
expressions
of
interest
for
the
key
role
of
Head
Coach
for
the
upcoming
2020/2021
Australian
Women’s
Ice
Hockey
league
season.
Head
Coaches
role
is
to
provide
coaching
and
athlete
development
oversight
for
the
team
including
running
tryouts,
team
trainings
and
home
and
away
games
in
the
league.
This
is
a
volunteer
role
and
requires
coordinating
with
the
committee,
Team
Manager
and
Assistant
Coach.
Role:
The
Head
Coach
is
responsible
for:
• Assisting
players
to
develop
effective
training
environments
for
team
performance
• Promoting
and
developing
a
strong
and
unified
culture
that
sets
the
example
for
the
club
as
a
whole
• Developing
and
maintaining
a
strong
relationship
with
the
club
committee,
ensuring
they
are
briefed
on
key
strategies,
activities,
travel,
and
issues
• Providing
players
with
regular
feedback
to
develop
and
reach
their
goals
• Working
closely
with
the
team
manager
and
assistant
coach
to
compete
in
both
home
and
away
rounds,
including
completion
of
post
trip
reports
Responsible
to:
The
Head
Coach
is
responsible
to
the
Club
President
Knowledge,
Skills,
Experience
and
Requirements:
Applicants
should
hold
a
Level
2
IHA
Coaching
accreditation
and
be
willing
to
take
ownership
and
responsibility
for
the
development
of
players
within
the
Perth
Inferno
club
The
committee
panel
will
select
the
successful
applicant
for
the
Head
Coach
role.
Applicants
are
encouraged
to
prepare
for
a
potential
interview
if
there
is
a
tied
vote.

development
