Think and Win Like Dhoni - Sfurti Sahare

The book is about the five success mantras of one of the greatest indian cricketer M.S.Dhoni .
The possible ways to achieve success through mind. The book entirely stands for one phrase
" TRY TOH KARO". It means to give a chance for doing something without leaving the task.
One English phrase explains it clearly "SOMETHING IS BETTER THAN NOTHING".
The book drives you to think like Dhoni and try to do things in his way .Success does not
depend on luck it depends on hard work To achieve success ,one should have a right attitude.
The confidence you have and the hard work that you do really matters.
"Attitude is 99% and aptitude is 1% to achieve success"-Celestine Chua.
"Success is about conditioning your mind".-M.S.Dhoni.
While reading the book ,there are many quotation which boosts you. The way to develop
your mind to see things on the positive side and being positive every time is well described. It
will be a joyful an pleasure reading .When you face a problem ,don't treat it as difficulty
rather see it as you are in situation and try to find the best way to overcome it. Nowadays
everyone is getting depressed one or the other time .In this book we can learn how Dhoni was
able to find an alternative to the situation and how he has been successful throughout the
years. And the basic line is "We need to stay happy, stay positive all the time and approach
each situation with right frame of mind".

After watching the senior's videos, I came to a conclusion to take these points from them.
From Bhashwar:
 I didn't actively participate in any interaction sessions or clubs ,From my second year
onward I will join as many clubs as possible and work on my communication skills
with others ,interacting with new people.
 Living life to the fullest, I'm not sure that he enjoyed his life a lot ,but I will try to
achieve whatever I choose and enjoy every moment in my life.
 Confident: He believed himself ,his idea and went on to achieve it even it didn't
last ,I'm inspired by his belief on his instinct and going with it is the most inspiring
thing that I would to take away.
 NEVER GIVE UP: After the failure of his first Start Up, He didn't give up there else
he decided to go with some other idea.
 So, finally I want to take away his never giving up mind ,self belief, keeping
confident on the work we commit.
From Breasha:
 Like her ,I am also a bit confused to want to do. I will take some POR or any
interesting work and I will try to know myself and my responsibilities.
From Ravi Khatri:
 Find your own passion and work on it. Being productive for the most time, I need to
focus on what I really wanted to do.
 Building healthy relationship with everyone in the insti. I will try to interact with
seniors, getting some of the advice whenever I need.

Failure means Lack of success. But it is not an end from where you cannot get
success .Failure gives us the experience we lack in making something successful like how to
do it, where we did mistakes, what are the lessons we learnt. In general ,People are obsessed
with success or feared to failure. If they fail ,they will not overcome it instead they will stay
worrying about the results , consequences. We need to start seeing the positive side of things.
We have to be optimistic. To become a positive thinker, we should start thinking about the
good things that happened to us or doing something productive for a period of time where we
will be able to get small results which gives confidence to go on or helping others in their
work so that they won't be failed. Sticking to the failure is not the thing one should has to do.

We can get rid of the negative thoughts and failure feelings are:
 Start listening to the people who succeeded from facing failures.
 Keep yourself anxious about anything which you are going to do.
 Never waste time that does not matter you.

Some of the success people saw the failures in these ways.


 Edison ,who invented bulb, was asked why he failed 1000 times in inventing a
bulb .He replied like you think I had failed 1000 times but I think I had founded 1000
ways not to make a bulb.
 Dhoni after a bowler having a bad day, he will just say it's not his day ,we need to
look into the areas where we lack.
 After losing a world cup final, Sangakkara and Williamson, they just smiled and left
it.
After a failure one should leave it , look for the ways of winning it.
