Mom’s Busy Day


My mom usually starts her day at eight o’clock. And she has lots of stuff to do everyday! First she has a shower. Then has
breakfast- an orange juice, cereal and toast. And she prepares the family breakfast. At about nine o’clock she leaves the house, takes
us to school and goes to work. She works in a music shop Lisboa. The shop opens at ten. She works all morning and then she has
lunch at half past one, in a café. The shop closes at five o’clock and she goes home.
When mom arrives home she does the daily household tasks- make the beds, iron, vacuum, clean and cook. In the evening we
have dinner. After dinner, mom helps us with homework. And we go to bed at half past ten. My mom just goes to bed at midnight. So
she has time to watch TV or use the computer. She likes to go on the internet or email her friends. It’s different at the weekend! On
Saturday afternoon she has some timeout and she goes shopping. She loves buying CD’s and clothes. On Saturday night she and dad
often go out with some friends. She loves to dance. They always have a good time.
