In Balikpapan

1. Following up on the Letter of the Head Region VII Airport Authority Office Number:
AU.313/12/I5/OBU.VII/2019 dated November 12, 2019 concerning Requests for
Recommendation Drone Operation, it was conveyed that the drone activities can be carried
out at Balikpapan airspace with the following requirements:
a. Following the rules applicable to Minister Regulation of Republic Indonesia number 180
regarding Aircraft Operation Control Unmanned Air (Drone) in the Air Room served by
Indonesia and Minister Regulation of Republic Indonesia 163 about Regulations for
Operation of Unmanned Aircraft in the Airspaces served Indonesia;
b. Delivering a complete location map with agreed coordinates (geographical Coordinate /
DD: MM: SS);
c. Notifying activities during take off and after landing, and reporting the end of the day's
activity to the Branch AirNav Operations Manager Balikpapan;
d. Person in charge or PIC field of drone activities from the Airport Authority Office
Region VII, namely Mr. Ahadiat Adhi Yudistira (phone +62-8115997536);
e. The maximum height that is allowed is 180 feet AGL;
f. Coordinate with the Balikpapan Branch LPPNPI Housing Team appointed as the person
in charge of operational drones at the Airport Authority Office Region VII, Mr. Adi
Sucipto (Phone +62-81346206904), Mr. Romeo Sunaryo (Phone +62-85220190002) and
PIC Manager Operations on Duty (Phone +62-82255210201) if there are things that need
further coordination;
g. Comply with the SOP (Local Procedure) of LPPNPI of Balikpapan Branch;
