Lexical Approach

The lexical approach is related to the idea that: the students should focus on being able to
understand and produce lexical phrases or chunks as the book says. A chunk is an umbrella
term which includes all the other terms. As you know lexis is the basis of language. In this
method there’s not learning theory or a theory of language.

To understand and implement the methodology which is based on stages composed of: task,
planning, report.
Working with language paragraphs to research: Word partnerships, preposition usage, style,
etc.
