INTRODUCTION
1.1 Problem of the Study
1.2 Aims of the Study :
The present study aims at dealing with the notion of plurality in
English language and its sub-categories and enabling the EFl/ESL
students to recognize each category and how to differentiate
between the regular and irregular types.
1.3 Limits of the Study :
This paper is limited to the study of regular and irregular
plurality as well as the foreign plural nouns in English language.
1.4 Value of the Study:
This paper is considered valuable and precious that it delivers
rich and useful information, which will give border idea about the
notion of plurality in English.
1.5 Procedure of the Study:
It is worth mentioning that the main procedure that the writer of
this study has followed in writing this paper can be summed up as
the following:
1- Browsing several books from the library to be the main
sources of this study.
2- Extracting information from the internet to be extra
knowledge.
3- Using different example to clarify what this study is intend
to convey.
