This picture is to the Bolivar’s square of the 19th century. We can see at the behind the Lievano’s
palace. The Bolivar’s monument is in a low pedestal locked in a jail, possibly at the center of the
square. There aren’t fountains or gardens, just the monument. The designe of the square is similar
to the today’s. According to tourist guide, in this time it was given the name Bolivar’s square. This
architectural design of the 19th century is according to the of Bogotá culture, since, this place is a
social and cultural epicentre. In addition, the sculpture of Bolivar is the most representative
object, which is still in force.
