A traditional English breakfast is a very big meal.But nowadays many people only have cereal
with milk and sugar, or toast with jam or honey. Some people often drink instant coffee. But
for visitors they find it unpleasant.

In the cities there are many snack bars where you can choose the type of bread, salad and fish
for the sandwich.The pubs serve good and cheap food, both hot and cold.

Children can have breakfast at school but many only have a sandwich at home, a drink and
some fruit.

"Tea" means two things. It is a drink and a meal! People drink afternoon tea with sandwiches,
cakes and a cup of tea. Creamy teas are famous there. It has buns with cream and jam.

For them, dinner is the main meal of the day.They also do a traditional lunch where they eat
roast meat with potatoes, vegetables and sauce.They like food from other countries like Italy,
France, China and India.
