Abstract— It states the thesis of the paper, briefly summarizes
the argument, and gives the conclusion in 150 words maximum

I. INTRODUCTION (HEADING 1)
Introduce the thesis of your paper to your reader. It should
have some background information or perhaps some general
information leading into the specific topic of your essay. You
can also include why you chose this topic, or a colorful quote,
comment or question to attract the reader’s attention. It should
also explain your topic so the thesis of your paper is made
clear
II. CONTENT
A. Topic
Generally, a good term paper would have three arguments
which are categorized into three different topics. To help
readability, you may also have subtopics.
The arguments you present here makes the body of your
essay. It develops the case you want to make using evidence
from published sources supported with illustrative examples
(i.e. image, figure, charts, tables), integrated into a well-
structured, coherent argument that leads the reader to your
conclusion.
We suggest that you use a text box to insert a graphic
(which is ideally a 300 dpi resolution TIFF or EPS file
with all fonts embedded) because this method is somewhat
more stable than directly inserting a picture.
To have non-visible rules on your frame, use the
MSWord “Format” pull-down menu, select Text Box >
Colors and Lines to choose No Fill and No Line.
The term paper is really a review of literature or other
sources on your chosen topic. It is based on library (or
internet) research. The purpose of the exercise is for you to
gather information from published sources, and integrate it
around a particular topic in a well-structured, readable way.
Your arguments may be strengthened by adding
information or examples that agree or conflict with the
conclusions of the authors you refer to. You may wish to
present a critical analysis of some of the evidence cited, or
those authors’ interpretations. Eventually your argument
should be balanced and cohesive.
Please make sure your contents are well-presented; good
story flow, all content fit together. Everything has to be
presented coherence and succinctly. The integration of the
facts and ideas you are reporting must be all your own work.
Not giving proper acknowledgement will be considered as
unoriginal work/plagiarism.
III. CONCLUSION
You need to demonstrate your choices after presenting the
arguments in the previous section – do you agree, or disagree
or neither (must choose only one). Wrap up the essay by
reminding the reader again what the term paper is about
briefly.

more than five lines here.
