My Vacation

After my parents and I finished packing our bags we made our way down to the bus stop on Stone
street. The bus was packed full of people all going to the same destination. The sun rays beamed
through the windows promising a beautiful day as our journey to Prague began.

My parents passed time by reading and writing. I on the other hand listened to music while doing a
crossword puzzle. I also periodically gazed out the window at the sight of endless fields and fences
zooming by. After a few hours’ bus ride, we stopped at a Burger King for lunch.

We left home without eating breakfast to catch the bus, so the restraint was such a welcoming sight that
my stomach started to growl. Everyone enjoyed their meal while the sun warmly caressed us. After
finishing lunch our journey continued where we stopped at a cafe at Ljungby. There I had a rich brown
bundt cake that perfectly complimented my cold glass of coke. The cake was tender and melted in my
mouth allowing me mere seconds to savor the rich taste.

The next day after switching buses at Øresund we rode to Denmark and boarded a boat from Southern
Gedser to Rostock. It calmly cut through the water as trees swayed gently in the breeze and the water
shimmered in the sunlight. The ride was calming, but by the time the boat pulled into the dock we were
all tired of sitting. Everyone was glad to finally have a chance to stretch their legs.
