Advantages and disadvantages of using DNA evidence

DNA evidence, which is DNA found at the crime scene like blood, saliva and hair, has become
one of the most valuable and popular tools in forensic science. There are several ways that
detectives use to prove if someone is guilty or innocent, but in the last years DNA testing are
the predilects because even minute quantities of DNA can yield sufficient material for
analysis, but there is a problem which we forget about and is that DNA analysis can be
susceptible to the human error like contamination that can decrease accuracy and reliability of
the sample.
