Introduction
Are you too hard on yourself? Do you find motherhood is being
rough on you? Do you often find yourself surrounded with people
who only criticize you and your parenting methods?
Being a mother is one of the most challenging responsibilities out
there and no mother should feel bad about herself or her abilities to
be a great mom.
One evening I felt overwhelmed, my 18-month old daughter was
crying, and I couldn’t figure out for the life of me what was wrong
with her and it was draining me of the small amount of energy I had
left after having worked a full shift at work.
Was she hungry, teething, coming up with a cold, bored, did she
have an upset stomach? I sat down and started thinking about all the
mothers out there. The ones who stay at home, the ones who work.
The ones who own businesses and all the single moms. The moms
who have one child and the ones who have four, five or even more.
The first-time moms and the twin moms. The joyful moms and the
depressed ones. The moms with babies and the ones with toddlers,
teenagers and even young adults. The moms with sick children. You
give so much of you every day, but the real question is: who’s giving
back to you?
I came up with more than 150 affirmations which helped me go
through the rough patches. Today, I want to share them with you and
I hope they will help you the same way they have helped me.
Listen to these affirmations and repeat some of them daily especially
during those moments where you are alone and need a boost of
energy and positiveness. Before long, they will start to have an
influence on your mind, and you’ll notice how your days will be full of
positivity and great inner strength.
Without further due, let’s get started.
