Candidates not holding three "A" Levels but having alternative qualifications and/or working experience are invited to consult our Website about Regulations for entry into
undergraduate programmes through Accreditation of Prior Learning and Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APL/APEL)
• Applications should be made on forms obtainable at the Central Administration of UTM from 09h00 to 15h30 on weekdays or downloadable from UTM’s website: www.utm.ac.mu.
• Completed Application Forms together with photocopies of supporting documents (inter alia, copies of education & birth certificates and copy of National Identity card) and payment of a
Non-Refundable Application Fee of Rs500/- to be made exclusively in cash or office cheque on weekdays from 9h00 to 15h30 at the UTM as from 22 December 2017 to 28 February 2018.
• The UTM does not accept cash payments by post and strongly advises applicants against sending cash by post. UTM shall not be held liable if an applicant adopts this mode of payment.
• Photocopies of documents submitted by applicants are not returnable.
• Only successful applicants will be notified of the outcome of their applications.
• The UTM reserves the right to alter fees or other charges.
• The UTM reserves the right not to run any of the above Programmes.
• The UTM reserves the right to run the above programmes at any of its centres and rented premises.
• UTM runs courses from Mondays to Saturdays from 08h00 to 20h30 and Sundays from 08h00 to 14h00.
• For Master of Business Administration programmes, courses will be run on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. However, one or two modules may be run on week days.
* CMSS and CST Programmes: These Programmes are stand alone Certificate Award Programmes of the University. In addition, except for programmes governed by requirements of
professional and/or accreditation bodies, the CMSS and CST programmes give entry into undergraduate programmes as follows:
(i) Candidates not meeting the subject requirements for direct entry into undergraduate programmes offered by the SBMF and/or the SSDT will be eligible for entry into Year 1 of these
programmes following successful completion of the CMSS.
(ii) Candidates not meeting the subject requirements for direct entry into undergraduate programmes offered by the SITE and/or the SHS will be eligible for entry into Year 1 of these
programmes following successful completion of the CST.
