− Hard to put together in that the wood resists the
screwdriver! It could do with more pre-drilled holes. So
many separate pieces that it is a bit daunting to start!

− Fairly poor quality components • Leaf supports did not fit
into allowed cut outs and I had to plane them to size.
• One of the drop leaves was very heavily knotted with
visible glue - I sanded down to bare wood and re-stained
to match.

had already assembled the rest so a bit stuck without
using it as was.
This is a sweet table but, don’t expect an overly solid item.
I’ve sanded and stained the entire table. Then I’ve used
Frenchic furniture paint on the legs and topped with
finishing coat to toughen it.
For the wood top, I’ve protected with finishing coat (to
harden) and then used a browning wax which, once
buffed, looks fab.
All in all, I’m pleased with the finished product but you do
need to be prepared to put some work in.
