OVERVIEW
A soon to be graduate desiring participation in a nurse residency program. Through my education,
clinical experience, and previous work experience, I have begun to develop incredible nursing and
communication skills. I am now seeking an opportunity in which to not only start my career, but to
invest myself and continue learning with the goals of further strengthening my critical thinking,

WORK EXPERIENCE
Jackson Hospital- ED Medical Support Technician Montgomery, AL (Fall 2019)
• Collect, report, and document patient data, anticipate patient needs and inform RN of pertinent
patient information in a timely manner to achieve an organized and effective, but fast paced
environment of the emergency department.
• Directly assist all staff and professions in medical procedures, codes, patient transportation, and
other necessary care while maintaining composure and communication with patients and family.
Grandview Medical Center- Patient Care Assistant Birmingham, AL (Summer 2019)
• Assist nursing personnel with a variety of patient care activities including but not limited to, personal
hygiene tasks, patient comfort, vital signs, intake and output documentation, participation in a
patient care team and patient safety.
• Upon completion of the Summer PCA Program for nursing students, an enhancement of
communication skills, patient safety, and knowledge for effective participation in a care team was
obtained.
Miller Writing Center- Front Desk Representative Auburn, AL (Jan. 2017- May 2019)
• Schedule writing center appointments, greet clients in a friendly manner, and solve professional
scheduling conflicts among tutors using organization, time management and communication skills.
