In recent years, the entertainment industry has developed significantly. Yet, it is also
growing with the severe argument on the high salary of entertainers. In my opinion, it is
completely reasonable for those people to be paid well.
Entertainment plays a very important role in our life. It helps us relax, reduce stress
after a hard-working day. All we need to do is turning on the TV and film stars, sports stars
or famous singers will entertain us. Yet, people think they do not deserve their salary.
Firstly, these ones have worked a lot. We, normal people, think that they are so lucky, being
born with gifted talent can earn loads of money. But we do not know that after all those
glamorous moments on television, they need to practice. For example, a K-pop idol has to
work up to 15 hours a day to master their choreography and songs in preparation for
concert. Indeed, having talent does not mean that they do not need to work hard. Besides,
entertainers face many troublesome. Whereas we can freely speak, express our feelings,
artists have to live in public eyes, being controlled and filmed every wrong words they said,
which might destroy their whole career.
In conclusion, I think entertainers deserve being paid well for all their hard work and
pressure they face.
