This inspection/ review needs to cover at minimum the following:

Verification that welding procedures (WPS) match the ones called on the ITP - This activity can be
performed without physical presence at the site. We will be needing detailed drawings of the part
including weld overlay details, applicable vendor WPS, PQR, the site.

MTR verification for the bonnets forging and welding material - MTR matching with correct Heat
numbers and visual inspection of forgings and welding material requires physical presence. The other
details can be reviwed from documents.

monitoring of weld start up (welding parameters)

verification that NDE procedures match the one called on ITP

monitoring of NDE pre and post weld

In case of weld repair, the repair procedure must be approved by OII before they proceed.
