(vi) Whether maximum scour depth below HFL at pier and abutment has been Considered as per Codal Provisions? Lacey Formulae for alluvial soil, Or Experience of existing bridges nearby for doubiing projects, (vii)Whether Size of Pier Jabuiment cap has been Provided as per code including inspection arrangements? (ix) Whether safe Bearing capacity has been calculated by appropriate method? Soil testing Report. Table Assessment as per Table -6 of Sub structure code. (%) In case of pile foundation, whether pile cap level including scour depth has been calculated /provided as per codes? ‘Top of pile cap should not be above Lowest water level For FOB / ROB itis to be decided as per site condition, Should not be high to infringe at the same time take care of safety of execution. (x) In case well foundation, whether provisions including Scour depth has been Calculatediprovided as per Codes? GAD must indicate a note in this regard (xi) Whether distance between existing and proposed bridge has been adequately provided? This has to be considered with respect of the approved project sheet. If the project, sheet specifies lesser distance, it will require revision, (Qi) Whether location of proposed piers and abutments are in the line of existing bridge? if not, the reasons there of. It has to be in alignment in all cases, (xiv) Whether GAD has been prepared with half plan at bottom with longitudinal section, sectional elevation and key plan? It has to be drawn along the length with half bottom plan at the level of top of foundation and half top at the top of pier cap. (ev) Whether the dimensions of plan, elevation, cross section, longitudinal section are matching? Itis mandatory to have the same scale of plan, elevation and cross section. The elevation should be above the plan with perfect alignment. The cross section should be on the RHS of elevation. In case of old bridge being extended, the cross section of existing bridge must be shown on the side or overlapping with diminished font (vi) Whether backfill material behind abutments, wing walls, RCC boxes efe. has been Shown? RDSO type plan no.-10152 -10159 to be referred. As per RDSO letter no. CBS/DBC dated 19.03.18 Approach slab and transition system as per RDSO Geo Tech Die. report. (Gai) Whether weep holes have been provided adequately? Anote in this regard to be added. Clause 7.6.1 and 7.6.2 of Sub Structure Code. (xvii) Whether flooring details with curtain wall/drop well! apron have been shown with cross-section, in case of box bridges? RDSO Type pian no. ROSO/B-10152 (xis) Whether bearings have been provided es per requirement and details shown correctly? Type of Bearings proposed to be indicated along with source of supply. (x) Whether proper facilities for inspection like inspection ladder, steps, inspection platform have been provided? If not, the reasons thereof. Mandatory. Reference Drawings should be available on C R web sile and site should be kept updated. (xxiv) Whether direction of flow has been confirmed from site and shown correctly in the plan? Calculation sheets should be submitted and reference of the same to be given in notes, (viwhether the alignment of the projects has been finalized and approved by open tine and 2 copy of entire alignment of the project has been submitted to commission with application or with any of the application sent earlier (reference may be given)? Pertains to Construction Organization. A certificate to be given in Notes. (vil) Whether soft copy of the alignments of the projects has been submitted to commission? A certificate to be given in Notes (vii) Whether in case of existing arch bridge, load testing has been done for the proposed loading to ceriify its fitness for the proposed loading (generally 25 T)? Calculation sheets should be submitted with certificate and reference of the same to be given in notes. 31 | Whether the designs of substructure and superstructure have been checked and certified? (CBE should call design basis, design calculation duly proof checked by IIT as required before certification. He should ensure that all relevant loadings have been taken into consideration and the instructions given in advanced correction slip No.48, Bridge Rules dated 28.08.2017 have been complied, especially para 2.16.4.2 to 2.16.4.3.3. CBE should also check and satisty that the bearing capacity considered in design of foundation has been correctly assessed as per stipulated procedure.)
