The Technical Committee will be responsible for the technical
organization of the tournament. The decision of the Committee in all
matters regarding the tournament shall be final.

The Tournament Director will chair the Jury of Appeals comprising of a


member of the Organizing Committee, the Technical Delegate and the
Referee.

Eligibility Participation is open to all players in good standing with the Organizing
Committee. Foreigners may join the tournament, for doubles they
should partner with a Filipino. Players may enter two (2) events per
category or a maximum of four (4) entries. Lower categories may join a
higher category e.g. U15 BS, BD + U17 BD, XD. U17 players will be
allowed to enter Singles, Doubles and Mixed inasmuch as that is the
highest category.

Kindly note, however, that the games may be played on the same day.
Coaches and players are advised to exercise prudence in submitting their
entries. Please read the rules on Substitutions and
Withdrawals CAREFULLY.

Junior players from the different parts of the country are encouraged to
join this tournament.

Players must submit, along with a copy of their entry form, a copy of
their NSO birth certificate.

Competition Rules & The General Competition Regulations of Badminton World Federation
Regulations shall be applicable to the tournament.
Format of Play / Scoring System Eliminations & BWF Regular 1-21 Rally point scoring system.

Acceptance of Entry All players are advised to log on to www.forthrightevents.net to submit
Requirement entries. All entries must be submitted online only at the above
designated website. Players must submit, along with a copy of their
entry form, a copy of their NSO authenticated birth certificate or
passport.

The payment instruction is at the end of the registration process.


Deposit slip should be emailed to forthrightevents@gmail.com. An
email confirming receipt of the deposit slip will be sent.
Entry fees must be paid immediately from date of registration at the
designated bank account no. specified. Only paid entries will be
confirmed.

Last day for payment of entry fees is on October 15, 2019.

Paid in cash before beginning of tournament.


Entry fees should be deposited to a designated Bank Account indicated
at the end of the Registration Process. Scanned copy of the deposit slip
should be emailed to forthrightevents@gmail.com. The player must
bring original copy of the deposit slip and present to Tournament
Secretariat upon check-in.

Only players with submitted copy of their deposit slip as proof of their
payment of the Entry Fees are confirmed. The unconfirmed players are
not allowed to play.

Coaches or Team Managers who enter a player into the tournament are
responsible for paying the entry fees for that player and the submission
of the necessary documents.
Substitutions & Withdrawals The Organizers must be informed of any withdrawal by a player/pair or
team from the tournament or any event thereof.

Deadline for withdrawal with refund is on October 18, 2019 at


the Team Manager’s Meeting. Only 50% of the entry fee will be
refunded. The remaining 50% will be used to defray the cost incurred in
the registration process. No refunds for withdrawals after November 6,
2018.

For the purpose of these regulations, retiring from a match shall not be
considered to be a withdrawal, however, should a player be entered
in more than one event, by retiring or withdrawing from that
one event, the player must be withdrawn from all other events
in which the player is entered.

A “no-show” for a match shall be treated as walkover to the opposition.


He/She shall, likewise, not be allowed to play in all other events he/she
entered.
The technical committee may substitute a player or pair in case of any
withdrawal prior to the start of the competition.

No changes will be made after the Team Managers’ Meeting and Players’
Draw unless approved by the Referee.

Defaulting Time A ten (10) minutes defaulting time will be imposed for the whole event.
Code of Conduct of Players and The Code of Conduct under the BWF Rules will be strictly implemented
Coaches in this Tournament.
Clothing & Advertising Clothing and advertising will be permitted in accordance with the
competition regulations of PBA and BWF.
Doping Test Doping test may be conducted randomly throughout the tournament.
