Near the city of Catacaos Peru there is a town called

Narihualá. It is a town that has been inhabited by different
tribes. Upon learning of the arrival of the conquerors, the
inhabitants of Narihualá decided to bury themselves alive,
along with all their wealth, so that they could not be
possessed.

Some time later the Spaniards arrived and found absolutely no

wealth except an old pot with seeds. The Spaniards very
furious that they had not found anything of the expected ones
threw the pot on the floor and left, some time later the
Chiwake tribe decided to go to the place of Narihualá where it
was commented that there were great buried wealth and
when they arrived big it was their surprise to observe a
beautiful field covered with purple fruits that they named
Wayu which in Spanish means grape since then in Peru the
most delicious and tasty fresh grapes are grown for the whole
