THE MOLE

“To some, a mole accentuates one’s facial features. To others, it is more like a curse especially for those
who has them in weird places. To me, a mole is more like destiny’s little wonder…. No one be certain as
to where it would appear, how big it would be, or where it ends up in our body - it is very much random.
But how can two random persons have mole in exactly the same spot? Maybe it’s destiny… If you tend
to wait for a person with exactly the same mole, it is almost impossible… Which is why we need to write
our own destiny.” This is what I said during the one-minute speech exercise while I was still working in a
BPO industry. I have never been a fan of ‘destiny’ nor a believer of it. But for the purpose of making an
impression to satisfy the creative exercise set by the trainers, I used it figuratively.

I have never been very outspoken nor very vocal about things. Probably because I am anti-social or
maybe because I’m introvert. Whichever it is, I never liked being in front of huge crowds or around other
people. I am more relaxed and calmer when I am alone.
